What does one AI UGC ad cost on VideoPronto?

About $3.30 per finished ad. VideoPronto sells one-time credit packs, and a typical video — script, presenter, scenes, captions and branded end card — uses about 250 credits. Here is what each pack works out to, calculated from the live prices on our pricing page:

PackPrice (one-time)CreditsTypical videosCost per video
Starter $20 1,500 ≈ 6 ≈ $3.33
Creator · Most popular $50 3,800 ≈ 15 ≈ $3.29
Studio · Best value $500 38,000 ≈ 152 ≈ $3.29
Agency · Best value $1,000 76,000 ≈ 304 ≈ $3.29

"Typical videos" assumes 250 credits each. Credits follow what a video actually uses to render, so a longer or heavier video costs a little more and a short one a little less — and the exact number is shown before you confirm. There is no subscription, credits do not expire while your account is in good standing, and if a render fails the credits come back automatically. Every format, language, accent and digital double is included; there are no add-ons.

What do subscription AI UGC tools cost?

Most AI video ad tools charge a monthly subscription that refills a credit allowance. The cheapest paid plans we checked on September 23, 2026 start between $20 and $59 a month. Prices below are copied from each vendor's own pricing page on that date; they change often, so confirm before you buy.

AutoReelEssential, $124/quarter for 5 videosQuarterly or yearly only2 videos/mo, 720p, watermarked

Two cautions when you compare. First, a subscription credit is not a video: most vendors spend credits by length, resolution or feature, so "600 credits" does not tell you how many 30-second ads you get. AutoReel is the exception that states it outright — 5 videos for $124 a quarter is about $24.80 a video. Second, Arcads publishes no pricing page; third-party blogs report plans from about $110 a month for 10 videos, but we could not verify that, so it is not in the table. What does hiring a UGC creator cost?

A human creator quotes a fee per video, and the total usually involves more than the fee: you ship them the product, agree how long and where you may run the video (usage rights), and wait for filming and any revision round. Rates vary by creator, niche and audience size, and we have not found a published rate card we trust enough to quote here, so we don't print a number.

What we can say plainly: a real creator gives you things AI cannot — a genuine customer experience, their own followers, and a real person physically using your product. If you need those, hire the person. If you need many hook variations of the same message, fast, AI is built for that. AI vs hiring UGC creators compares the two in detail.

What is the real cost per tested hook?

The number that matters is not the price of one ad but the price of one test. You rarely know in advance which hook will work; you find out by running several hooks against the same offer and keeping the one that brings in leads or sales at the lowest cost. So the useful math is cost per variant × number of variants.

  • 3 hooks on VideoPronto: about $9.87.
  • 5 hooks: about $16.45.
  • 10 hooks: about $32.89.

With a subscription, divide the monthly fee by the ads you actually finish that month. A $29 plan used for three ads works out to about $9.67 an ad; used for thirty ads (if its credits stretch that far), under a dollar. Subscriptions reward steady volume; per-video packs reward bursts — a launch week, a seasonal promo, a new Spanish campaign — followed by quiet months where you pay nothing.

With a creator, each extra hook is usually another deliverable. One sensible split: a creator for a few flagship videos, AI for the volume of hooks you test around them. Our guide to video ad hooks has prompt-ready hook styles to fill those test slots.

What does a month of hook testing cost? A worked example

Take a cleaning company launching video ads for the first time. In week one it makes five English UGC ads, each with a different hook — a confession, a warning, a price, a question, a three-person Real Voices montage. In week two it keeps the best performer and makes three new hooks in the same style. In week three it makes three Spanish versions of the winner, in Miami Cuban, Mexican and Puerto Rican Spanish, for different neighborhoods.

That is 11 finished ads, about 2,750 credits at the typical rate, or about $36.18 in production cost. It fits inside one Creator pack ($50, 3,800 credits), and the leftover credits stay in the account for next month's round. If month two is quiet, nothing is billed. The same plan on a monthly subscription costs that month's fee whether the team makes eleven ads or none. Hiring creators for it means eleven separate deliverables, three of them from Spanish-speaking talent.

Which pricing model fits your business?

  • You make ads in bursts, or you are testing whether video ads work for you at all: one-time packs. Nothing bills you in a month you don't make ads.
  • You publish every day at steady volume and use the whole allowance: a subscription can come out cheaper per ad, as long as its credits cover the lengths and features you need.
  • You need a real customer's story or a creator's audience: hire the creator, and pay for usage rights in writing.
  • You need Spanish as well as English: check whether the plan you're pricing includes it. On VideoPronto, Spanish by variety — Miami Cuban, Mexican, Colombian, Puerto Rican, Argentinian, Tejano or Spain — costs the same credits as English. See Spanish video ads.

What the price does not include

Ad spend. Whatever tool you use, the money you pay Meta, TikTok or YouTube to show the ad is separate and set by your own budget. Neither does any tool's price cover your legal responsibility for the ad: an AI presenter who says "I tried this" when no such person exists raises disclosure questions. Frequently asked questions

How much does an AI UGC ad cost?

On VideoPronto, about $3.30 per finished ad. A typical video uses about 250 credits, and packs are $20, $50, $500 or $1,000, bought once. Subscription tools charge a monthly fee instead, so their real cost per ad depends on how many ads you actually make that month.

Is there a monthly fee for VideoPronto?

No. VideoPronto sells one-time credit packs with no subscription. Credits do not expire while your account is in good standing, the cost of each action is shown before you confirm it, and credits for a failed render are refunded automatically.

Is AI UGC cheaper than hiring a UGC creator?

Per video, almost always: about $3.30 against a creator's quoted fee plus product shipping and usage rights. A creator is still the better pick when you need a real customer's honest experience, a creator's own audience, or a person physically using your product on camera.

What does it cost to test five hooks?

About five times the per-video price on VideoPronto, because each hook is its own finished ad at about $3.30. That is the useful number, because you rarely know which hook will win until you pay to test it.

Do all video formats cost the same?

Not exactly. Credits follow what a video actually uses to render, so length and format move the number up or down around the typical 250 credits. The exact cost is shown before you confirm, and every format, language and digital double is included with no add-ons.

Does the price include ad spend on Facebook or TikTok?

No. The video price covers making the ad. What you pay Meta, TikTok or YouTube to show it is separate and set by your own budget in their ads manager. Cheap creative matters because it leaves more of that budget for the media itself.
