Put yourself in any video — the consent-safe AI face swap
VideoPronto re-casts any video with YOU: upload a clip or paste a public link, pick your digital double, and the person in the video becomes you, with the original motion and lighting matched. The identity is always your own consent-verified double — swapping someone else's face is not offered. Billed per second: 9 credits, at 720p.

How to put yourself in a video
- Build your double once. Upload a few clear photos and record a short voice sample with the spoken consent line. That one capture session powers every swap and every ad your double stars in.
- Upload a video or paste a link. MP4 or MOV, up to 100 MB and 30 seconds — a trend clip you recorded, your old ad, a demo someone filmed for you. Links must be public video files.
- Pick who goes in. Choose your double. The person in the source video is replaced with you; the camera motion, scene and lighting stay.
- Download the re-cast video. The finished MP4 lands in your account in minutes to download and post. Uploads are billed by their exact length; links bill the 30-second cap and refund the difference automatically.
What is an AI face swap video?
An AI face swap video takes an existing clip and replaces the person in it with someone else, frame by frame, while keeping the original camera motion, body movement and lighting. The 2026 wave of tools made it a one-click trend: you have seen it as creators dropping themselves into movie scenes, memes and other people's ads. VideoPronto's version answers one question — how do I put MYSELF in a video? — and it does it the consent-safe way: the only face that can go in is your own digital double, built from your photos with a recorded consent step.
Why "only yourself" is the feature, not a limitation
Most face-swap tools will put any face on any body, which is exactly why platforms, ad networks and a growing list of state laws treat synthetic likenesses with suspicion. VideoPronto's Terms forbid undisclosed impersonation of real people, and our Biometric Data Consent Policy commits to collecting biometrics "only from you, only for your own avatar." The swap feature enforces that in code: the identity picker only lists your finished doubles, each of which required your photos and a recorded spoken consent to build.
For a business, that constraint is an asset. A video of you recommending your own product is marketing. A video of someone who never agreed to appear is a liability. You get the viral format without the legal exposure.
What marketers actually use face swap for
- Trend-jacking without re-shooting. A format is blowing up on TikTok or Reels; you upload a clip you have rights to — your own past footage or licensed stock — and re-cast it as you, the founder.
- One shoot, many faces of the brand. Film a demo once with whoever was available, then re-cast it with your double so every video on the page has a consistent face.
- Refreshing old ads. That ad from last year still converts, but the presenter left. Swap yourself in instead of re-filming.
- Founder presence at scale. Pair it with UGC ads and your double: some videos written from scratch, some re-cast from footage you already own.
How the billing works
Face swap is billed per second of source video, at 720p: 9 credits a second. A 15-second clip is 135 credits — under $2 at Starter-pack rates. Uploads are measured before anything is charged, so you pay for exactly the seconds you send. A pasted link bills the 30-second cap up front (we never fetch your links ourselves — the render provider does), and when the finished video turns out shorter, the difference is refunded automatically, as two visible lines in your credit ledger. Failed renders refund themselves, like every render on VideoPronto.
What the source video can be
MP4 or MOV, up to 100 MB and up to 30 seconds, uploaded from your device or pasted as a public video link. Phone footage works — the capture quality of the source sets the ceiling for the result. Use footage you have the rights to: your own recordings, your past ads, your licensed clips. Platform synthetic-media rules and ad law still apply to what you publish; you own the output and the disclosure duty that comes with it.
Face swap vs. making an ad from scratch
They solve different problems. The swap re-casts footage that already exists. The studio writes, casts and films a new ad from one sentence or a link — script, scenes, captions, branded end card. If you have a winning clip and want your face in it, swap. If you have nothing but an offer, make an ad; your double can star in that too, speaking your cloned voice in English or Spanish by variety.
Frequently asked questions
Can I face swap someone else, like a celebrity or a friend?
No. VideoPronto only swaps in YOUR own digital double, built from your photos with a recorded consent step. Swapping another person's face is against our Terms and our Biometric Data Consent Policy, so the product does not offer it — that is the point.
How much does an AI face swap video cost?
It is billed per second of video: 9 credits a second, rendered at 720p. A 15-second clip is 135 credits — under $2 at Starter-pack rates. Uploads are measured exactly; links bill the 30-second cap and refund the unused seconds automatically.
What videos can I use as the source?
MP4 or MOV files up to 100 MB and 30 seconds, uploaded or linked as a public video URL. Use footage you have the rights to — your own recordings, your past ads, licensed clips. You are responsible for the rights to the source video, per the Terms.
Does the swapped video keep the original motion and lighting?
Yes. The model replaces the person while keeping the scene: camera movement, body motion and lighting are matched and the tone is blended, so the result reads as the same shot with you in it rather than a sticker on a video.
Do I have to disclose that a video is AI-made?
Often yes, depending on the platform and what the video claims. Meta, TikTok and YouTube each have synthetic-media rules, and ad law applies to ads regardless of how they were made. You own your outputs and you are responsible for disclosure where it is required.
What happens to my photos and voice recording?
They are used only to build and render your double, stored privately, never sold, and deleted when you delete the double — the full policy is at /biometric-consent. Providers receive only short-lived signed links during a render, never open files.
