What is the difference between VideoPronto and Arcads?

Both tools make UGC-style video ads with AI presenters. The difference is scope and how you pay. Arcads is built around AI actors for UGC ads and is sold as a monthly subscription with credits. VideoPronto makes UGC ads plus eight other formats from one link or one sentence, and you buy one-time credit packs with no subscription.

One thing to know before you compare numbers: Arcads does not publish a pricing page. Its plans appear only after you sign up, so every Arcads price on this page comes from third-party blogs and is marked unverified. Treat them as a rough guide, not a quote.

How much does Arcads cost compared with VideoPronto?

VideoPronto costs about $3.30 for a typical video. Packs are $20 (1,500 credits), $50 (3,800), $500 (38,000) or $1,000 (76,000), paid once. A typical video uses about 250 credits, the cost is shown before you confirm, credits do not expire while your account is in good standing, and failed renders are refunded automatically. Full details are on pricing.

Arcads prices are unpublished. Third-party write-ups we read on 2026-09-23 disagree with each other:

  • eesel (edited 2026-06-17) reports a Starter plan at $110 a month for 10 videos, Creator at $220 for 20, and Pro at a custom or $550 price. At the Starter figure that is about $11 a video, billed monthly.
  • Another guide reports a $29 "Lite" plan that cannot make talking-actor videos, and a 30% discount running.
  • Blogs also report that talking-actor videos bill 800 credits per started minute, so a 15-second ad would cost the same as a 60-second one.

None of these are confirmed by Arcads. If price matters to your decision, sign up and check the plan screen yourself before comparing.

Does Arcads have a free trial?

It is unclear. The Arcads homepage says "Free trial available", while eesel says there is no free plan or trial. The site also showed a promotion for seven days of unlimited generations in Arcads Studio when we checked. VideoPronto has no free tier; the smallest purchase is the one-time $20 Starter pack, which covers several typical videos.

Which is better for Spanish-language ads?

VideoPronto, if you sell to a specific Spanish-speaking audience. Arcads lists Spanish among its 30+ languages but does not claim regional varieties. VideoPronto writes the ad natively in Spanish by variety — Miami Cuban, Mexican, Colombian, Puerto Rican, Argentinian, Tejano or Spain — and the script, the voice and the presenter all match that variety, so a Miami Cuban ad never says "vosotros". It is written in Spanish, not translated from an English script. See Spanish video ads for examples.

Inspect First, a pre-purchase car inspection company in South Florida, runs VideoPronto UGC ads in English and Cuban Spanish from the same Brand Kit; both are on this page.

When is Arcads the better pick?

Arcads is a reasonable choice if:

  • You only need AI-actor UGC ads and want to test different actors on the same script.
  • You are a performance team already comfortable budgeting for a monthly subscription.
  • You want to create your own AI actor inside a tool built only for UGC ads (blogs say this is on Pro; unverified).

When is VideoPronto the better pick?

  • You don't want a subscription. Buy a pack once and use it when you need ads. Nothing renews.
  • You want to know the per-video price up front. About $3.30 a typical video, and the exact cost is shown before each render.
  • You advertise in regional Spanish. Seven named varieties, across script, voice and presenter.
  • You want more than UGC. Real Voices (several people, one line each), an AI spokesperson or digital double of you, ready-made Promoters, Pixar-style or claymation animation, podcast clips, product showcases, founder cameos and property tours — all from the same credits, with no add-ons.
  • You start from a link. Paste your website and Autopilot reads your logo, colors, voice and offers into a Brand Kit, then proposes three to six ad concepts.
  • You want to see what competitors run. Competitor research pulls a competitor's active ads from the Meta Ad Library, spots the hooks and offers they keep renewing, and turns them into concepts one click from a video. We did not see this claimed on the Arcads pages we read.

How fast is each?

Most VideoPronto videos go from the line you type to a downloadable vertical MP4 in under seven minutes, and nearly all in under ten, with captions and your branded end card included. Arcads does not publish a comparable turnaround figure on the pages we read, so we don't state one.

The verdict

If you are a performance marketer who wants an AI-actor library for UGC testing and doesn't mind a monthly plan, Arcads is built for that — confirm its current pricing after signup. If you are a small business or agency that wants UGC ads plus other formats, native regional Spanish, and a pay-once price of about $3.30 a video, VideoPronto is the simpler fit. For the full cost picture, read what an AI UGC ad really costs.
